Camping Bananas with Carmel

4 medium bannanas
1.5 cup sugar
1/4 cup water
1/4 stick butter
1/2 cup rum

In a cast iron pan combine sugar, water, and butter until mixture begins to brown. Then add bananas. Cook for 2-3 minutes over campfire. Add rum and light on fire for about 30 seconds (don't burn yourself) then blow out. Eat as is or serve on store bought pound cake. Easy camping food recipe.

Campground Pizza

Ingredients Jar spaghetti sauce
sausage (cooked and crumbled at home)
pepperoni (pre-sliced)
"wamp" bisquit dough
Mozzerella Cheese
Equipment 6 long green twigs
roll of foil
cooking grate

Make a tent of tin foil using three twigs wrapped by tin foil for each side,then lean them together over the grate, set over warm coals. Spread bisquit dough into a pizza crust shape. Spread spaghetti sauce over dough. Add pepperoni and cooked & crumbeled sausage on top of sauce. Add cheese over top of meat. Set this inside the tent for 30 minutes and Viola! You've got campground pizza!
Comment Pizza ingredients can be changed as to taste, but it is easiest to make if meat has been pre-cooked before leaving for camp.

Campfire Cookout (Camping Food Recipe)

1 1/2 pounds ground beef
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 green bell pepper, sliced
4 large carrots, sliced
4 large potatoes, sliced
1 large onion, sliced
Worcestershire sauce

Mix ground beef, salt and pepper. Shape into 4 large patties. place each patty on a large square of heavy-duty foil. Cover each patty with prepared vegetables, then sprinkle each meal liberally with Worcestershire sauce. Cook for 15 minutes over hot coals, then turn and cook on the other side for 15 minutes.
