2 tsp. each brown sugar, garlic powder and onion powder
1 tsp. coarse ground black pepper
4 beef tenderloin steaks (6 oz. each)
1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
PREHEAT grill to medium-high heat. Mix brown sugar and seasonings.
BRUSH steaks with oil. Sprinkle seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of steaks; press gently into steaks to secure.
GRILL 6 to 8 minutes on each side or until cooked through.

1 (2-inch-thick) beef sirloin steak (1 1/3 pounds)
1 tablespoon coarsely ground pepper
2 teaspoons seasoned salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Trim and discard any visible fat from steak.
Combine pepper, seasoned salt, and garlic powder; sprinkle on all sides of steak. Let stand 15 minutes.
Cook, without grill lid, over high heat (400° to 500°) 8 to 10 minutes on each side or until desired degree of doneness.

* Wife's great potato salad
* Pre-heated grill
Salt and Pepper your big steak and toss it on the grill. Let cook for five minutes on one side. Flip it over. Add the wife and kids' hot dogs to grill. Have the wife use tongs to turn the hot dogs frequently for five minutes. Take the hot dogs off the grill for the wife and kids. Take your steak off and put in on a big plate. Add the rest of the stuff to your plate. Tell the wife and kids to help themselves to the hot dog buns and potato salad. Pass the ketchup around.
